One of the most iconic movies of the 1980’s was the Karate Kid. Almost all of the filming locations can still be found today in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California.
Location #1 is Danny LaRusso and his moms apartment complex.
Yes it’s still there and looks EXACTLY the same as it did 30+ years ago.
location update: For more than 30 years the field where Daniel gets jumped and then saved by Mr Miyagi, stood empty and exactly the same as seen in the film for more than 30 years. But unfortunately the field was recently purchased and a bunch of houses were built on the property.
Location #2 we find the home of Ali Mills. Located in Encino, California, the mansion looking house looks the same as it did 30 years ago.

Mr. Miyagi’s house was real and was located in Canoga Park. Unfortunately in 1988 the house was torn down and a couple new homes were built in it’s place.
