Tommy Boy 1995 Toronto Filming Locations

The cult classic “Tommy Boy” starring Chris Farley & David Spade was filmed on location in Toronto and Ontario with additional scenes done in the States. For example, have you ever wondered where the University is that Tommy goes to?

What University was used in the movie?

The college used in the “Tommy Boy” movie that is supposed to be Marquette University is actually a college located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada called The University College, University of Toronto.

In the movie, you will notice this college is supposed to be located in a town called Sandusky, Ohio, which is a real city in Ohio. However, a majority of the filming was done in Canada instead; including this college.

The Tommy Boy trailer used for the movie is what originally convinced me to see it. Chris Farley and David Spade? That’s the perfect combination for a movie like this. No wonder the movie was so great.
